Review sequence

1. Confirm the official developer and store listing.
2. Open the permission screen on the actual device.
3. Check recent access history where available.
4. Read the current store privacy disclosure and policy.
5. Disable access that does not support a feature you use.

Limits

Permissions, privacy labels and policies describe different things. None alone proves malicious behavior or guarantees privacy.
